Lowcountry Paver: (2006-2007)
South Carolina

Just after the Rowan Graduation Ceremony, an old web-design client offered me a job as an IT guy near Hilton Head, South Carolina.
I was tasked with designing, building, and migrating the company to a real small-business network. The office and the plant would have to be linked. Then they needed software powerful enough to drive all the back-office, sales, inventory, production scheduling, shipping, and customer management operations of a $10 million batch manufacturing company.
The problem sounded interesting enough, challenging but still manageable. The timing was right, I loved the location, and I needed the money. I took the job.
Unfortunately, it quickly became clear the company was not at all committed to the goals they had hired me to accomplish. Not happy with the direction things were taking, I left within a year.
