Steven Peterson: Software Engineer

- Portfolio -

Here is a brief overview of projects I've been involved with.

Web-Design Portfolio

The Art of Design

Here's a sampling of web-sites I've developed over the last couple years. Older one's were mainly school projects; more recent ones were commercial!

October 2006 - to present

While working here, I built a new web-site in a hurry. I focused on building a framework that was both large and flexible enough for them to grow into. Also added LOTS of new content.

LibraryWeb Database Site

Spring 2005

This was a database-backed mock-library site for my databases class. It has some neat query functions, click sortable table-columns and it still works!

October 2004 - to 2006

I took this site over from a classmate. I added a lot of database functionality to it and wrote a new tab-bar navigation system to make the site 'bigger'.

October 2004

This is the first web-site I actually got paid for! It is one of my favorites. The customer got a good deal on it too!

May 2004

This is a rough prototype for a site-redesign I was going to do. The project fell through, but the layout remains here for your enjoyment.

May 2004

This was a database backed Apartment-Search site; done with a friend for our final web-programming project. The client backed-out of the nearly completed project, deciding it should be 'free'. We still got an 'A' though! We had added a touch of flash, and I built dynamically generated search forms.

Jan 2004

This was built for my web-programming class, and nearly became a blog focused on the art of web design. There's some basic cgi-scripts and html-tutorials there, but it's officially abandoned.
