envX (Cloud and Fog Resource)
The newly named envX (Cloud and Fog Resource) is a re-factoring/re-writing of the Cloud and Fog layers built into the Torque Game Engine. The goal is to add new functionality and flexiblity for game developers. It has had a long road, but is back in development and should be completed very soon.
envX: Cloud Handler Resource
EnviroTorque requires lots of finite control over Torques cloud layers. This resource delivers it. Unlimited layers, configure procedural-effects or bitmap texturing per layer, toggle and fade all layers independently.
envX: Volumetric Fog Resource
Torque offers basic volumetric-fog effects, but like the cloud layers there is plenty of room for improvement. This will likely include independent control of each fog layer, and some new visual effects.
